Natixis AM partner of the Climate Finance Day
Natixis Asset Management will be a partner of the Climate Finance Day alongside Mirova, its subsidiary dedicated to Responsible Investment. The event will bring together key financial operators to examine issues related to global warming.
How to reduce financing for high carbon projects and, conversely, how to encourage green investment to support the energy transition?
A few months ahead of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 21) in Paris, the question of the funding necessary to limit global warming is more topical than ever.
Held on 22 May 2015 at the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris, the Climate Finance Day will bring together key financial operators to examine issues related to global warming. This event is designed to showcase pioneering initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of asset portfolios, to encourage the financial sphere as a whole to get involved, and to emphasise the importance, for both developed and developing countries, of finding private financing solutions to fight climate change.
Philippe Zaouati, Chief Executive Officer of Mirova, will take part in the round table on “How Can Institutional Investors Bring their Portfolios into Line with 2°C?”. A stand flying the Mirova colours will also be placed in the main hall to welcome participants.
